TORTILLA

Dante Basco (Zuko) on The Last Airbender movie.

Another question. I don't understand how someone can be pro-life and anti-homosexuality. You'll protect a fetuses right, but once it's out of the womb, it's feelings don't matter anymore? You're willing to take away its right of marriage and happiness? It's just something that's always bothered me. People will fight for someone's rights until they're born, and then they don't care anymore :/

I can’t tell if you’re trying to make the case for pro-LGBT or pro-choice here. I don’t believe that either are right, homosexuality or abortion (which is just another form of murder). And of course a child’s feelings matter after they’re born. You say right of marriage. I know I’m gonna get flamed for this, but I don’t believe that anybody should have the right to do something that’s wrong. Marriage was ordained to be for one man and one woman. Therefore, yes, I do believe that homosexuality is wrong. Therefore, people shouldn’t have the right to do that. I can tell that someone’s gonna say that I’m imposing my religious beliefs here, but I’ll argue absolute truth when I have to. The point is, people shouldn’t have the right to do something that’s wrong. That includes both abortion and homosexuality. If you’re offended, I’m over it already.

God loves you, and I’m trying.

P.S. No, before anyone screams at me for God knows what, I do not hate gay people. Hate the sin, pray for the sinner.

P.P.S. Thanks for asking without being a jerk.

How do you like Homestuck if you so strongly disagree with homosexuality when homosexuality is canon? Just curious.

I do not deny that the homosexuality in Homestuck does bother me a bit. But as I’ve always said, homosexuality, while being a sin, isn’t worse than any other sin. If I try to avoid all sin in any form of media, I’m going to have a bad time. Mostly I just ignore it. And just for the record, I don’t ship the homo couples, even if they are canon.

Hey everyone let’s play the what could this be game. This could be…a serial killer, an arsonist, a serial killing arsonist. Yayy, let’s base all of our life altering decisions on a shaking foundation of what-ifs and see how that turns out for everyone. It seemed to do well with the housing and credit markets.

This is a great example of a nonsensical argument, for both sides of the debate, because it is based on unknown assumptions and can easily be turned on it’s head.
This person could be the next Hitler, or this person could be the one who find a cure for cancer. This person could be the next Jack the Ripper, or this person could be the one who ends world hunger.
We have no possible means of determining if a young human being will grow up to change the world, let alone if the changes will be good or bad.
Humans contains within themselves both essences of good and evil; every life, you and me included, has the potential for goodness and for evil.  Based on the idea that all people have potential for evil, would you argue that this alone is a justifiable reason to exterminate people?

What is better than gaining an identity for yourself is losing your identity for Christ.
